Description: Turkish Centauri honey broke the Guinness World Record for the most expensive honey in the world. In addition, it is until now, the most exclusive honey worldwide.

Centauri Honey is known for its several health benefits, particularly in supporting immunity, reducing inflammation, and offering several properties against diseases such as dementia, Alzheimer and cancer.

It contains high levels of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and antioxidants. Those compounds are associated with anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating properties.

Several healing capabilities

Several scientific studies have shown that Centauri Cave Honey has several healing capabilities. It has shown to exhibits significant nitric oxide inhibition. This suggests that Turkish Centauri honey has capabilities for enhancing immune responses and reducing inflammation, particularly in liver, stomach and colon cancer cells, without affecting healthy colon cells. These conclusions, along with research on its antimicrobial and anti-cancer assets, support its classification as a promising alternative for further therapeutic studies.

It is derived from a different type of honey, Cave Nymph, produced in caves at an altitude of 2,500 meters above sea level. This honey is more expensive and the most sought-after version.

Turkish Centauri honey as produced at 2,500 meters above sea level and is produced exclusively for special orders and must be ordered in advance. This is the only custom-made honey with enhanced natural medicinal properties, tailored directly to the needs of this select group of customers.

The vegetation in Turkey plays an important role

The truth is that, due to the diverse vegetation in Turkey, beekeeping is highly valuable, and even more so is Centauri (ancient honey), which is extracted from very inaccessible caves more than 50 kilometers away from any human settlement or other bee colonies.

Another difference is the harvest. While most commercial beekeepers harvest honey two or three times a year, Centauri honey is only harvested once annually, making it so valuable and sought after.

The Scientific Council of the Turkish Food Institute examines the harvested honey and selects only the highest quality to guarantee its excellence and value. These exorbitant prices are due not only to its exceptionally high and unquestionable quality but also to the difficulties of extraction.

Comes from deep caves

This honey isn't produced in hives managed by beekeepers; instead, the bees make it deep within a cave, as they have for thousands of years. Expert cave explorers brave the wild and dangerous terrain, venturing more than 20 meters deep to reach the honeycombs and obtain very limited yields.

Centauri was created in 2018 and to achieve the best quality certain rules are followed for the care of the bees, which are very different from traditional methods, making honey production even more difficult.
